Fall Wedding In Durham Ontario

My love of intimate weddings continues as I celebrated Natalie & Eli with their backyard wedding at their dream Victorian home in Uxbridge, Ontario. This intimate backyard wedding gave off the perfect fall wedding vibes, and I know you’ll love it as much as I do!

Planning An Intimate Backyard Wedding

Both the bride and groom are in med school and live very busy lives, so they needed a Durham region wedding planner to help take the stress of wedding planning off their shoulders. That’s where I came in! I was with Natalie & Eli from the beginning and worked with them every step through the wedding planning process. I helped source their vendors, design a floorplan and create a comprehensive wedding day timeline that ensured a smooth flow of their day.

Fall Wedding Details

When coming up with a design for Natalie & Eli’s wedding, they expressed that they wanted a simple and nice design with traditional wedding elements. So I decided to work with Foraged Floral Design, who was able to bring this design to life. Foraged Floral Design included lots of lush fall-inspired florals that paired nicely with the existing garden space. In addition, I incorporated Natalie’s love of tea cups into the design by including a tea cup at each guest’s place setting. For the ceremony, a rustic wood twig wedding arch was dressed with simple florals to help bring their vision to life. It was the perfect understated wedding ceremony decor for this fall wedding.

One of my favourite parts of the day was seeing the love that Natalie & Eli’s friends and families shared for them. You could truly see the close connections during the trivia game that guests played after dinner. This trivia game included intimate questions about the bride and groom as a couple and as individuals. Things got a little competitive, but it was overall incredibly fun.
